About Us

Peculiar Friends Initiative is a Non-Govermental-Organization (NGO) duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). We kicked off in July 2019, with an online presence, which later was followed by physical meeting with the 2 branches (Lagos and Abuja) where we have a strong team. Every year, we partner with Persons with disability Initiative Nigeria to Celebrate The world Disables Day. In 2020, We had a project for the widows tagged "Operation Feed the Widows" during the covid period. We shared food items and cash to the widows present.

In 2021 we had a project with the children, tagged "Help us send the children back to school", where we shared books and gave out scholarships to the less privileged children in public schools.

Then in 2022; we partnered with Sapphire Community and No Hunger Initiative to show love to the people in IDP Camp, where we gave out food and wears to both children and adults.

All of these, we were able to achive with our own little contributions.

At PFI our driving force is borne out of the urgent need to speak up for the voiceless, give hope to the hopeless, advocate for social justice, care for the girl-child all over Nigeria and beyond. Counsel and get justice for the abused also empower youths and women.

Vision: To speak out for the voiceless, women, girl child, youths, aged and disabled. To help build a society free of injustice, violence and inequality.

Mission: To contribute our quota to make our society a safe and a better place for women, the girl-child and the disabled.
